There seems to be a shortage of patriotic theme songs.

My Dad, Reece Yandle, wrote both of these soul-stirring patriotic solos that are easy-to-learn in a short time.

Both tunes are very singable.

This is America &  In God We Trust

I tried to capture “note for note” how I play this particular hymn “God Will Take Care of You.”

What a fitting hymn in our day and age!

This has been the hardest arrangement for me to write but worth feeling my way through as I sing the words to this beautiful hymn!

It took me at least four days to learn page 4!  I say this so church pianists will realize this hymn arrangement is very advanced.

Watching the video will help you with the interpretation of this sacred piano arrangement.

God Will Take Care of You

Very advanced sacred piano solo, 4 pgs. This is one of the most difficult arrangements Jenifer has written. Page four is a challenge but worth learning! Hear Jenifer play this arrangement on the video below as well as the story behind this comforting hymn.

I plan to publish God Will Take Care of You by this Saturday.  Speaking of comforting hymns…WHAT a comforting hymn!  The words and melody are SO soothing.  Once you hear the story behind this hymn written in 1904….the hymn will mean even more to you!  From the mouth of a young one this hymn was born!

My grandson, Nathan, requested an arrangement of Crown Him With Many Crowns to learn over the summer.

I tried to keep the arrangement true to his level with the exception of a few spots.  He will soon be in book 2B of the Faber piano book series.

You’ll note the suggested fingering as needed to prevent a lot of hand acrobats 😉

This particular piano arrangement consists of one verse and chorus…making it the perfect length for an offertory at a small church.

WHAT a rich text for the hymn O Sacred Head Now Wounded!

The writer truly depicted his overwhelming devotion and love to Christ for His sacrifice

It’s not a song you hear often but carries a message we need to hear every day!

May God bless you through this poignant hymn of Christ’s death and saving grace!

I’m sharing the rest of “The Call for Reapers” as promised last weekend.

Tips for the complete arrangement:

1. For those who don’t like playing sharp keys…just easily transpose to E flat major. The notes are the same….just think three flats instead of four sharps!
2. Try applying the accompaniment pattern of the chorus to hymns of like nature and chordal structure such as:
3. Measures 25 – 27 would go well for the words “softly and tenderly Jesus is” for the hymn “Softly and Tenderly.”
4. Read the note at the bottom of the sheet music that you’re about to download…
