This has to be one of my favorite Christmas songs now! My dad wrote this song several years ago and now it’s available in print!
You’ll love the haunting melody along with the emphasis on salvation that Christ brought to the world.
I’ve been sick for the past three weeks and feeling much better now!
Unfortunately I was unable to finish “Sweet Little Jesus Boy” piano solo but will be publishing a brand new Christmas vocal solo arrangement by my dad, Reece Yandle, sometime this week. The song is entitled “Hallelujah, Christ is Born!” and is just beautiful! The verses begin in a minor key and the chorus changes to major…I will say this has become my favorite Christmas song written by my Dad. Yes, he has written others but just haven’t published them yet 🙂

I have also posted some Christmas piano arrangement books for sale on our “Used Music” page. These books come from a growing stack of books I purchased this past year and just don’t need them all. I plan to post more for sale as time allows.
I published a late intermediate arrangement of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen a couple years ago. I was needing an early intermediate arrangement of this Christmas song for one of my piano students to play for recital this year…so…got up around 5 am last week and this one just flowed.
It’s not very long because we like short and sweet recitals 😉 The shorter solo also allows time for the student to learn a piano duet with me for the recital.
I just published an early advanced Christmas piano solo of “Away in a Manger Medley”.
I call this my homespun style….just wrote straight from my heart. Hope it’s a blessing to you.
Down From His Glory requires ALOT of ad lib from the church pianist when accompanying someone to sing this hymn.
I could not help but add runs during the chorus due to the frequent held words. The fingering for the runs is included 🙂
I plan to create an audio of the piano accompaniment as time allows.

A reader recently requested a piano congregational arrangement for “Joy to the World”. I had almost forgotten about having this arrangement. I am forever writing music of some sort and it’s easy to forget what I have 🙂
This is a rather straightforward arrangement of “Joy to the World”…no frills but enough fill-ins to add zest to the congregational singing for this joyous hymn about Jesus’ birth. Hope it’s a help to church pianists looking for congregational arrangements.
