Thursday, October 1st, 2015Several of my church pianist readers have requested an easier alternate ending for the piano arrangement of Holy Holy Holy.
So…I’m offering it for FREE below as a pdf printable version. This will replace page 3 & 4 of the Advanced version of Holy Holy Holy making it accessible for early advanced pianists!

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Monday, September 28th, 2015I published a late intermediate arrangement of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen a couple years ago. I was needing an early intermediate arrangement of this Christmas song for one of my piano students to play for recital this year…so…got up around 5 am last week and this one just flowed.
It’s not very long because we like short and sweet recitals 😉 The shorter solo also allows time for the student to learn a piano duet with me for the recital.
Sacred Piano Duet: Come Thou Fount
Saturday, August 1st, 2015Just thought I’d share a video clip of the sacred piano duet “Come Thou Fount” performed by myself and my student, Hannah Myers.
We played it this past Wednesday for offertory before heading out to the MusiCollege 2015 event.
We thoroughly enjoyed playing this peppy arrangement on a cloudy day 🙂

Patriotic Vocal Solo: “In God We Trust”
Friday, June 19th, 2015My dad, Reece Yandle, wrote this patriotic vocal solo at least eight years ago or more. It has been used as the theme song for a teacher’s convention and sung by dad at different meetings. People have been asking for copies of the song and now it’s possible.
“In God We Trust” as stated on our American currency…takes on a deeper meaning for those who have trusted in Christ as their Saviour.
I have published this prior to Father’s Day as a Father’s Day gift for my Dad 🙂
Listen to the audio sample below as you sing the following words (wait for the introduction)
“In God we trust no matter come what may,
In God we trust though dark and drear the way.
Always trusting in His love and pow’r we must,
This is our cry, “It is in God we trust!”
Church Pianist Current Activities
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015Just letting my readers know I’m in the process of posting the individual hymns from the Congregational Booklet One for sale on the Congregational Piano Hymn page of our online music store. (navigation buttons at top of this page) So far I’ve posted: All Hail the Power, Are You Washed and Blessed Assurance.
Several have requested the Blessed Assurance congregational arrangement after seeing the first sample page of it in an older article. It’s now sold separately or in the Congregational Booklet One.
Special note: Multiple uses for the church pianist! The piano accompaniment arrangements from the Congregational Booklet One can also be used to accompany the following: vocal soloist, flute or violin.

Advanced Sacred Piano Arrangement
Wednesday, March 4th, 2015Special note to my readers: This advanced sacred piano solo of The Haven of Rest & Wonderful Peace is available in our music store. (It was available for a short time after publication but now for sale in our music store.)
Last week, a church pianist friend of mine who I met through my website was asking if I would write another advanced devotional piano solo. She couldn’t have asked at a better time since I was wanting to start a new advanced piano arrangement.
I began thinking about The Haven of Rest and tried to think of a song that would go with it. The chorus of “Wonderful Peace” just seemed to flow in thought and rhythm at the end of Haven of Rest chorus.
What a blessing to know as a Christian that…”I’ve anchored my soul in the haven of rest” and now I have “Peace, peace, wonderful peace…coming down from the Father above…”
The Haven of Rest was written (unsurprisingly) by an Irish sailor, Henry Gilmour, who came to America at an early age. (more on Henry’s life)
