I’m working on a late intermediate piano solo of “Christ Arose”.  I will use B flat and C major in this piece.

I created a poll on my facebook musician’s page yesterday with a choice of three different Easter songs.

So far…”Christ Arose” has the most votes.  Over half of the arrangement has been created…in handwritten form.

It takes a lot less time inputting the song into my software than it does to initially create it by hand.

Trying to finish asap.

Update:  Publishing this arrangement tomorrow (March 29th 2025)

My sickness has slowed me down but getting better.

I will be publishing “The Holy City” very advanced piano solo tomorrow by 8pm! (EST)

This has been the most challenging arrangement I’ve ever written!  I tried to stay true to the original texture of this piece.

Since the original arrangement is public domain, I was able to adapt and rearrange this piece for a piano solo.

Hope some of you are able to learn this in time for Easter!

Special note:  The entire arrangement is eight pages.  For a shorter version:  Omit pages three and four.  My recording is the shorter version.

The words to this hymn reminds the Christian of complete surrender to Jesus.

Sometime back, probably November…one of my church pianist  viewers heard me play “Is Your All on the Altar” for one of my facebook lives and requested I write it out.

After several months I finished creating the sheet music today!

I hope to publish the sheet music and youtube video sometime this coming week. (Week of January 26th, 2025)

This arrangement is very similar to my advanced version of O Little Town of Bethlehem.

You may want to compare the first page of both arrangements before purchasing. (I will provide the first page of each asap)

I enjoyed weaving in the “peaceful” pattern to picture the night of Christ’s birth.

I had almost forgotten to share this intermediate piano arrangement of “I Heard the Bells”.  My original arrangement of this title was an advanced version.

This year, one of my intermediate piano students was looking for a recital piece so I came up with this solution.   She has done very nice with this arrangement.

Standing on the Promises is now available!   I had a hard time settling on the ending so….I shared two endings!

Both the original (early advanced) and simplified version (late intermediate) are included. Two for the price of one!

Since there wasn’t a lot of changes….I just included the simple version with the original.

The arrangement consists of a brief intro, two verses, two choruses and a short ending with a steep climb up the keyboard!

The ending of this piece sounds different than anything I’ve ever done but just seems to fit.
