Monday, June 10th, 2024

I started writing this arrangement a couple of months ago and then misplaced it!  I just found it this past weekend and was able to finish it today.

It was fun to use a lot of colorful chords for a more majestic sound.

The approximate time of this piece is 1:40.

New Patriotic Vocal Arrangement: This is America

Tuesday, June 4th, 2024

My Dad, Reece Yandle, wrote this moving song  many years ago.  It’s finally available in print!

I wish I had a recording of him singing this arrangement.

This Patriotic song has a wonderful message….reminding us to love our country and to remember that God gave us America and we need to keep her free!

The beginning of the chorus reminds us to honor our flag

“Lift up the flag of the red, white and blue,

The emblem of courage, the banner of the free!”

This is definitely a “flag waving” song!

This is America (NEW)
Sacred Patriotic Solo words and music by Reece Yandle A very moving selection honoring not only our land of freedom but emphasizing God has given us America and we must keep her free! Price covers two copies.

Heavenly Sunlight (New) Advanced Piano Solo

Saturday, June 1st, 2024

Now for a fast paced upbeat arrangement of Heavenly Sunlight!  I love this old hymn which reminds Christians that God will never fail them no matter what is happening in their lives.

I chose to arrange verse one and two for this piece.

Verse One

Walking in sunlight all of my journey, Over the mountains thru the deep vale.

Jesus has said, “I’ll never forsake thee,” Promise divine that never can fail.

Chorus:

Heavenly sunlight, heavenly sunlight, Flooding my soul with glory divine.

Hallelujah! I am rejoicing; Singing His praises Jesus is mine.

Verse Two

Shadows around me, shadows above me

Never conceal my Savior and Guide, He is the light; in Him is no darkness. Ever I’m walking close to His side!

Chorus: (same as above)

Heavenly Sunlight
Advanced sacred piano solo arranged by Jenifer Cook Contains two verses and choruses. Begins in G major and ends in A flat major. A very upbeat rendition of this traditional hymn. See video below.

Interview with Lynndale Hardeman (Author of God Can)

Friday, April 26th, 2024

I really enjoyed my recent visit with Lynndale Hardeman via Zoom!

Lynndale is the wife of a retired Pastor.  They spent a number of years in Georgia and then twenty years in Alabama where her husband pastored a church.

Now they reside in Texas near family.

Lynndale is known for her following songs: God Can and Thou Art Worthy.

There’s a third song by Lynndale that we have used in our church MANY times as a vocal solo…entitled….”God Has Provided a Lamb”.

I’m working on a solo/duet arrangement of this song that I hope to publish very soon!  I will let everyone know as soon as I publish it.

See video interview below to meet Lynndale Hardeman.

Sacred Vocal Arrangements by Reece Yandle

Tuesday, February 27th, 2024

Some of you may know my Dad, Reece Yandle. He passed away in June of 2022 at the age of 85.

I would like to host a tribute to Dad and his  music in the near future.

It has been difficult to do so just yet but I will begin preparing

I miss him SO much but thankful for the music legacy he left behind about his Lord.

I’m honored to share his sacred vocal music here on my website. ( I do have some of Dad’s songs on youtube.)

I’ve entered five of his songs in my music store for the time being….and will publish more as time allows.

One of the sacred vocal solo songs entitled “Cleft of the Rock” has been a comfort to me s I sift through Dad’s music for the first time since his homegoing.

“In the cleft of the Rock is my refuge, He doth cover me there with His hand.

Though the storms of this life may beset me.

On the Rock of His promise I stand.”

New Piano Hymn Arrangement: “Under His Wings”

Friday, February 16th, 2024

“Under His Wings” ….a hymn of great comfort!  The lyrics were written by William O. Cushing.

William was a pastor in New York during the mid 1800’s.  His wife died after twenty four years of marriage.

Shortly after his wife’s death…he developed “creeping paralysis” which prevented him from using his voice to preach.

William pleaded with the Lord to give him some other way to minister.

God did just that.  William wrote over 300 hymns.  “Under His Wings” was a result of William going through hard times.

William may have based this hymn from the following Bible verse.

Psalm 17:8   “Hide me under the shadow of your wings.”

Under His Wings
Sacred piano solo (3 pages) Consists of one verse and two choruses in the key of C Major
Price: $3.75
