Thank You Video From Church Pianist Readers…
I truly appreciate all the kind words of encouragement that I’ve received over the years from my readers.
Just thought I would share a recent note and video from a couple of my readers. Loren & Louise are a husband and wife team who volunteer of their time to minister through music to various churches in their area as needed for Sunday services, weddings and funerals.
I would love to meet Loren & Louise in person just as I would those of you I’ve corresponded with through the years. (We can meet for sure in Heaven) 🙂
Thanks again for all of you encouragers! That’s what keeps me writing 🙂
Loren and Louise are playing my arrangement of “Draw Me Nearer & Close to Thee” …available HERE
*Loren and Louise apologized for the organ and piano being somewhat out of tune but I could easily overlook that as I heard them play from their hearts 🙂
They sounded so pretty together. Jenifer, you have touched a lot of lives with your beautiful music. I am so glad I came across you when looking for hymn arrangements on the internet. You are a blessing to many. Nelda
Thank you Nelda. It’s readers like you who keep me writing 🙂
Dear Jenifer: It has now been almost 3 years since we sent Jenifer our little video of thanks. Louise and I continue to play at about 6-7 churches in the PA and MD region. Some are fairly small, others are mid to large, but ALL are blessed by the wonderful arrangements provided by our internet friend, Jenifer Cook. We even played an arrangement by Jenifer at a little country church in NE Maine, per a request from the pastor. What a joy.
We have a very large collection of Jenifer’s arrangements. Probably our favorite is the patriotic “GOD BLESS AMERICA”. We also love her arrangement of Great is Thy Faithfulness and her wonderful arrangement of How Great Thou Art.
May the Savior continue to sustain and encourage this wonderful pianist who is so willing to share her talents with pianists (and organists) all across the world.
With much gratitude…

Thank you both for this uplifting note! What was the name of the Pastor in the church located in Maine? I have a Pastor friend somewhere in Maine.
Hi Jenifer; Thanks VERY MUCH for your kind and encouraging e mail. We are truly blessed to consider you our “internet friend”. Truly, a more accurate description would be our “internet mentor”. You asked about the pastor from Maine. His name is Pastor Barry B_________. He is the pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ellsworth, Maine. You can check on everything relating to Pastor Barry by doing a google search of “Emmanuel Baptist Church, Ellsworth, Maine”. There are many videos to enjoy and you can get a sense for the church setting.
We were supposed to play at two churches this Sunday morning, but BOTH churches cancelled due to the snow storm in our regional area. Next Sunday we will play at two churches (one large, one small) in the Gettysburg area.
A couple of years ago we purchased your WONDERFUL arrangement of one of my favorite old hymns…”He Keeps Me Singing” (ala “There’s within my heart a melody…” I especially love the first two verses. The second is particularly poignant for me, since the Blessed Savior lifted me up Sin, Strife, Discord and Pain”. “Jesus swept across the broken strings, stirred the slumbering cords again”. I play the violin as well as the organ, so I know all about broken strings and slumbering cords.
May we all be “True and Faithful” to the very end (from a middle verse of “When we all Get to Heaven”. You have greatly enriched our lives, and for that we are truly grateful.
