Easy Piano Trio: My Country Tis of Thee

I had to scramble to cover Memorial Day Sunday at our church after being sick for two weeks.

So….I kept things simple for us to learn in time.

Here’s a two verse rendition of My Country Tis of Thee for the following pianist levels:

Piano one: intermediate

Piano two:  late elementary

Piano three:  early elementary

Here is the first page from each part (I’m playing the lead part in the video)

    JENIFER DOES IT YET AGAIN FOR THE COUNTRY WE LOVE. My wife (Louise) and I play organ and piano together in churches(and have done so for almost 50 years). Jenifer C. has become OUR BEST FRIEND due to the WONDERFUL arrangements that she provides. I absolutely love her arrangement of GOD BLESS AMERICA, and we try to make a medley of it by adding her equally precious arrangement of “America the Beautiful”. We play it up to 3 times a year (the Sundays before Memorial Day, July 4th, and Veterans Day). It can be played with the “THUNDERING BEAUTY OF THE TRIUMPHANT VICTORY” or it can be played as a prayer, knowing that any victory comes from God, not from our troops. With America staggering around and about to fall into the chasm, we want to honor the country that we love. May God preserve our precious freedoms, including the freedom to worship Him “In Spirit and in Truth”.
