The Love of God

While reading I John 4 this morning…the words to the hymn “The Love of God” swept through my mind….

The love of God is greater far, than tongue or pen can EVER tell;

It goes beyond the highest star and reaches to the lowest hell;

The guilty pair bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win;

His erring child He reconciled, And pardoned from his sin!

O love of God, how RICH and PURE! How MEASURELESS and STRONG!

It shall FOREVERMORE endure, The saints’ and angels’ song.

Click here to read short story behind this hymn. You’ll be surprised to learn how verse three came into existence!

I plan to start working on an advanced arrangement of this reassuring hymn.

    That’s wonderful! Hope to see the new advanced piano arrangement of “The Love of God” very soon! I enjoy your arrangements so much. I played the arrangement of
    “Jesus is the Sweetest name I know” medley in church a week ago and I got so many compliments from it. Keep up the good work. These arrangements help to challenge the pianist.
