Yay!!! We’re back online!! Thanks to my wonderful husband for repairing my
hard drive that crashed the same week my website had issues.
To share our celebration of the re-opening of our store… we are offering 20% off anything on our church pianist website… except for the “off-site” products. The sale runs from March 16 through March 23rd, 2024
The songs that are “off site” should state so in the product description.
Advanced sacred piano solo, 4 & 1/2 pages. Uses keys: F, G and A flat
A nice piece for thanksgiving or any time of the year.
*Special note: Jenifer composed the melody for the second verse. There are three verses total in this arrangement.
I enjoyed arranging All Creatures of Our God and King.
What an uplifting hymn! The author of this song, Saint Francis, is better known as Giovanni Bernardone. He wrote over sixty hymns.
“At the age of 25 Bernardone left an indulgent life as a soldier, renounced his inherited wealth, and determined to live meagerly and to imitate the selfless life of Christ.” Amazing Grace 366 Inspiring Hymn Stories for Daily Devotions by Kenneth W. Osbeck
This arrangement is written with the intermediate church pianist in mind.
Sacred intermediate piano solo, 3 pgs. 1:27 time length
A nice piece year round but especially for Thanksgiving.
An excellent competition piece as well!
Advanced sacred piano solo, 5 pgs. Approximate length: 2:10
Arranged by Jenifer Cook.
This arrangement requires lots of energy on my part!
There are tempo changes to avoid the piece racing out of control 😉
The thankful heart rings clear in this old and treasured hymn.
May we always be thankful to Jesus the blessed redeemer.
Praise Him! Praise Him! is a joyful tune with beautiful words of praise to our Lord.
I’ve been working on this home-spun arrangement for about three weeks.
The three tempo changes will help the pianist pace his or her self…during this “on the go” hymn arrangement.
Warning: Obey the three tempo changes or this piece will get away from you! 😉
The first tempo mark is on the first page. The melody begins with a dotted quarter equaling one one tick per three beats.
Verse two slows down just a hair with a dotted quarter note = 80.
On the last page there’s a final slight, slow down with a quarter note =76.
I would rate this arrangement at an advanced level due to many right hand four note chords in addition an overall fast tempo needed to bring this hymn to life.
Sorry I couldn’t get it ready sooner for Thanksgiving but this hymn can be used year round.
I plan on posting this arrangement no later than November 17, 2021
Here is an early advanced arrangement of “Crown Him with Many Crowns”.
I consider this one of my home-spun arrangements straight from the heart.
This is the style I like writing the best!
I will probably play this piece for Thanksgiving service at our church.
Crown Him (early advanced) Early advanced sacred piano solo, 2 & 1/2 pgs.
Contains: intro, one verse, two choruses and an ending
Key: C Major
This would make a nice Thanksgiving day selection or any other time of year. Price: $3.50
Looking forward to having one of my students over this Thursday evening to share some music with you all via live facebook.
Ady LOVES playing the piano and singing! She’s going to play and sing a song she composed not too long ago entitled “Wondrous, Glorious God”…a great selection for Thanksgiving!
She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m going to present her with the complete arrangement (vocal and piano score) in Thursday night’s live facebook event.
Her song “Wondrous Glorious God” will be available on Sheet Music Plus by this Saturday. (She doesn’t know that either….LOVE surprising my students!) 😉
See you all soon! This Thursday at 7pm on my facebook music page: https://www.facebook.com/thechurchpianist
You do not need a facebook account to view this live event on Thursday evening at 7pm EST
Oh! I almost forgot! I’m also publishing an early advanced piano arrangement of “Crown Him with Many Crowns” by this Saturday as well.
The whole arrangement: verse chorus, chorus is in the key of C Major 🙂
