About

The Lord gave me the opportunity to begin serving as a church pianist while I was in fifth grade.

My piano teacher had to move and fortunately she had just taught me how to improvise from the hymnal!

I started by playing octaves in the left hand and triads in the right hand for fullness.

Being thrust into such a posistion gave me an immediate desire to learn much in a short amount of time!  (It was nice to have dad as the music director)  :)

Now…many years later….I can look back on that time and be thankful for what the Lord has allowed me to learn.
